Kleis Equipment is now offering auction services for construction equipment, agricultural equipment, trucks, trailers, and attachments! Traditionally, sellers had to ship an item to a physical auction where they charged a fee of 10-12% commission, and were charged additional fees for fuel, inspections, etc. Now, Kleis Equipment is offering to auction your equipment from your location. We’ve eliminated the need to transport your piece of equipment to an auction site by offering online auctions at a lower cost to your, while still delivering top auction values.

How does it work?

Give Kleis Equipment a call to inquire about auctioning your equipment off and get the process started. All that is needed are specs, photos, and an inspection done by you, then the item goes on our auction site. We recommend advertising the item for a month on our site. Your item will also be displayed in the Auction Time publication, as well as with Machinery Trader, Truck Paper, and Tractor House. The item is then auctioned off with bids from our site and from www.auctiontime.com. After the item sells, we will handle the payments with the buyer, allowing you the peace of mind of a low stress auction process.

Consignment Rules

All items will be charged a flat rate $225 to get the item listed. This helps cover our up front expenses.

Once the item sells, a commission of 5% will be charged.

Once completed, you will sell your item through our auction and pay much less than the other auction companies who offer a more traditional, more expensive physical auction.

Payment Terms

For all bidders: All items are being sold as is-where is with no guarantees expressed or implied. We encourage you to come inspect the machine or call with any questions. We are more than happy to assist with answering any questions you might have. All shipping and additional fees are the responsibility of the buyer.

For all sellers: Once the item is listed online it will be auctioned off and cannot be sold outside of the auction. The initial fee and commission will be deducted from the sales price.
